Performance data for our primary academies
Despite results nationally in both the primary and secondary phase remaining relatively stable over the last two years, students and staff are celebrating the tremendous improvements in results for 2019 across the 9 primary and 10 secondary Northern Education Trust academies.
In the primary phase, Year 6 children reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and maths rose by 13 percentage points over the last two years, rising to 65%. All subjects have seen improvements, with reading increasing by 9 percentage points to 69%, writing by 9 percentage points to 77%, and maths by 10 percentage points to 76%
Frederick Nattrass Primary Academy is in the top 25% of all primary schools nationally for maths and writing with a phenomenal 100% of children reaching the expected standard, and a similarly impressive 91% of children at the expected standard for reading. As a result of these tremendous achievements, Frederick Nattrass Academy is the top performing primary school in the Stockton on Tees area, and has received formal congratulations from the Education Improvement Service of Stockton Borough Council.
Northern Education Trust is also delighted to confirm that all its primary academies are now rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.
